Sweet cake! Hey Shane, did you read the Fables novel yet, Peter and Max? I think you mentioned your girlfriend read it and you wanted to…something like that. I just finished it and was pleased. It’s a pretty quick read and an engrossing first novel from Bill Willingham. I suggest you pick it up if you haven’t already.

Oh man Dom! I haven’t read Peter and Max yet, but I did read your review and am now even more excited. It’s in my “to read” pile, but of course, it’s a pile that’s about as tall as I am! I’m currently reading a novel called The Boy Who Couldn’t Sleep and Never Had To by DC Pierson.
I have another book for your pile: Deadeye Dick by Kurt Vonnegut. If you enjoy dark humor you’ll enjoy this one. It’s a quick read, too.
