Hey everyone!
With the third issue hitting the “metaphorical” stands, Chris and I have been hearing some very nice things about our latest issue, Reed Gunther in Trains, Reigns, and Pains! including this wonderful review by the very gracious Steven Surman of BrokenFrontier.com!
Steven say stuff like:
It’s a rare find to uncover a comic book that knows what it wants to be from start to finish.
(Shane’s) characters and their relationships with one another are genuine, his dialogue is light and witty, and his adventures are exciting without being intense.
… artist Chris Houghton ensures that all of the characters, creatures, and settings have a specific look of exaggeration to them, which gives Reed Gunther not only a unique visual experience, but also a special narrative flavor.
Hot Dog! Thanks so much and we’re glad you enjoyed the book, Steven! Be sure to read Steven’s entire article over at BrokenFrontier.com!

Hey everyone!
We received some really fantastic submission to the Reed Gunther Fill in the Word Balloon Contest, but we had to narrow it down to just two winners.
The Grand Prize Winner and the receiver an autographed issue of Reed Gunther in Trains, Reigns, and Pains!, Reed Gunther Pins, and an original drawing of your choice by Reed Gunther artist, Chris Houghton, is none other than… ANDREW ADAMS!
Andrew’s submission for the original Fill in the Word Balloon contest won the second place, runner up prize, but that was not enough! Driven by his non-first place win, Andrew vowed to come in first next time! Which he totally did and really pulled out all the stops by not only submitted a hilarious take on Reed, but also by doing it in full color! Wowee! Great work Andrew and thanks for the hilarious gags!
Now on to our still awesome second place runner up and the receiver of an autographed issue of Reed Gunther in Trains, Reigns, and Pains!… Jeremy LaPeer!
Chris and I are trying out some new ideas with the site and we apologize if it looks a little messy right now!
We wanted to change the site to have more of a “web comic” feel to it, where we can release pages of Reed right up at the top for people to check out and come back every couple of days to read a new page. So right now, we’re experimenting with issue #1.
But with a new site (which will look a heck of a lot better in the near future), we’ll have all sorts of cool new things to check out! Right now, you can see all of the pin ups from issues 1 and 2 in the Pin Ups section!
We’re working on ironing out the wrinkles and making everything look pretty, but for now, enjoy the new stuff!
Hey guys,
While we’re making some changes to the website, you may have noticed a new cover for Reed Gunther in a Stalac-TIGHT Spot.
Here is the brand new cover in all it’s new-ness:
Issue 2’s with this cover are not available just yet, but we did just send in an order to the printer so we should have copies with this fantastic new cover soon enough!
And again, sorry for the messy site, but we’ll get things fixed up! We promise!
