After taking some time off this year to work on some animation projects, Shane and Chris will be returning to the So-Cal area for some comic con appearances!

Join us at the Long Beach Convention Center on November 23rd and 24th for a weekend of comics, sketches, and stories! Ask us about the Reed Gunther Amazon pilot! Check out the books we’ve been working on this past year, such as FANBOYS VS. ZOMBIES, BART SIMPSON, SIMPSONS ONE-SHOT WONDERS, ADVENTURE TIME, and more! Have Chris draw you a custom sketch of one of your favorite characters… like Reed Gunther!

It’s the con’s fifth year anniversary so there’s tons of special guests, panels, and exhibitors this year. And if you swing by the Reed Gunther booth, we’ll even give you a free comic! Hot Dog – What a deal!

Chris and I will be at the Long Beach Comic Expo tomorrow, Saturday April 23rd! The show opens at 10AM and runs until 6PM. Tickets are only $15 to get in and kids under 10 are free!

To help deflate that admission price, swing by the Reed Gunther booth to snag a free mini-comic! Free comics? It’s worth the admission price!

Howdy folks!

This weekend, October 29th-31st, Chris and I will be at the Long Beach Comic Con in (currently not-so-sunny) Southern California! We’ll have all sorts of fun Reed Gunther goodies, some original Moon Gloom pages, free zines, and TRICKS and TREATS!

Only in its second year, the Long Beach Comic has a pretty impressive guest list. If you’re in LA, Long Beach is too close to pass up! I hear Stan Lee’s going to be there shouting “EXCELSIOR!” at every con-goer.

Also at the Reed Gunther table we’ll have copies of our SPOOOOOOKY short horror comic, Blood Brothers! Perfect for Halloween goosebumps!

Blood Brothers follows the tale of two bickering brothers as they investigate a local werewolf legend.

Chris and I created Blood Brothers to see if we could pull off a different style from Reed Gunther. Now it is a little spooky so I don’t think we can recommend this one as all-ages, but most folks should get a kick out of it.

Blood Brothers is only available from me and Chris in person (and for only a buck!), so be sure to catch up with us at a convention to snag one of these puppies!

If you’re in town, be sure to swing by and say hi to us! We’ll have candy! … Unless Chris eats it all.

While at the San Diego Comic Con this year, Chris and I had the chance to talk to people who record conversations. That’s right, our first real INTERVIEW!

We were interviewed by a few different people for various projects (feature documentary, web videos, podcasts, ect…) who knows how many of those projects will actually see the light of day. My favorite interview was the one we did with a puppet cat. Hey puppet cat, put that on the internet!

Luckily, the fine folks at the Meltcast podcast were kind enough to let Chris and I crash their recording session in the Marriot lobby and regale them with all our fine knowledge of comic books (and apparently butt jokes).

It’s so close I can smell it! (or maybe that’s just my lunch).

Chris and I will soon be in sunny San Diego for Comic Con International. Now I know what you’re thinking: Man there’s so much stuff going on, how am I going to stay up to date with you guys?

Have no fear! We’ll be hanging out at our shared table with Kevin McShane of Toopydoups at Small Press Table M12! We’ll have our big ‘ol Reed Gunther banner up so you can spot us from a distance.

M12 is not that had to remember. Just think about something that you like that starts with the letter “M” and something equally important that has the number 12 in it. Like that Bruce Willis movie 12 Monkeys. Or 12 (angry) Men! Or something else that isn’t a movie reference… Maybe you could leave a comment below to help folks remember?
